Postcardapalooza

You know I love postcards and exchanges. If that is your bag, you might want to check out Postcrossing, which is a website designed to facilitate the exchange of postcards globally. I like to make mine by hand, as it is a great way to experiment with materials and techniques. Ready-made cards are also completely acceptable. Thus far, I have received cards from the US and places as far as India, Taiwan, Germany and Finland. My cards have traveled as far as China, Australia and Japan. The Postcrossing system shows distances, maps and all sorts of interesting information, making it a great activity for kids. Just ask the kids in Mr. Bunker’s 3rd grade class in Utah!
