Tippi Polo is a Hispanic-American artist born and raised in Tampa, Florida. Tippi primarily uses paper, textiles, and wax to explore childhood memories, family narratives, superstition, and cultural lore. She is particularly interested in oral traditions and tactile means of capturing the more ephemeral aspects of culture and personality.

Tippi resides with her husband and stepson in Tampa. She recently served as Coordinator of the Meadows Division of Art and Business Manager of the Pollock Gallery (Southern Methodist University). She is now Office Manager in the Office of the Dean at University of South Florida College of Design, Art + Performance.
