Collage Quickies
I admit that I have been a bit of a humbug in recent years. The holiday season has become increasingly fraught with pressure. We all face expectations (explicit or implicit) about gifts, travel, social events and it can sometimes feel less festive and more like a hassle. Fortunately, I believe I have found something that puts me in better spirits. I make what I call collage quickies.
Collage quickies are small, handmade holiday-themed collages. They are cheesy, gaudy, glittery, cock-eyed, imperfect and made of what many people would consider trash. I can whip up a batch in no time and every minute seems like playtime. The big fun, however, is giving them to others.
