2025 Remarque Print Exchange

I have participated in a number of artist trading card (ATC) exchanges over the years. It is very approachable because artists of any level can produce impressive, bite-sized works quickly and with minimal resources. Further, it is fun receiving original art from around the country or around the world! I have have had so many positive experiences that I didn’t think twice about signing up for the 2025 Remarque Print Exchange. However, it suddenly occurred to me that I don’t really know what I am doing (yikes)!

To be clear, I am not a complete novice. I have made gelatin-plate prints, potato prints, cyanotypes, and even linocut prints. For example, I made some very rough linocut prints to send to friends as post cards for Dios de Los Muertos. I am not, however, in the habit of making a set of “identical” prints larger than a postcard. This is going to be an adventure.

Those of you interested in participating can find more information at the Remarque Print Workshop website. There is no jury process, so artists of all experience levels are welcome. You can use any number of printing methods, as long as you can produce an edition of eleven, somewhat identical 8x10 prints. I will keep you posted on my progress.
